About us

Piano Tuner Academy is the UK’s finest independent and intensive Piano Tuner training establishment located in Newport, Wales. You will receive one-to-one training from our tutor, who is a Professional Tuner and Technician with over 35 years of experience in the business. 

He has worked with many music professionals, and tuned just about every type of piano ever made - from an upright Berry piano to a Steinway grand piano, and in just about every situation imaginable - from homes to concert halls, schools to cruise ships.


At Piano Tuner Academy, you can be sure to get the best intensive Piano Course on the market and begin your new career in just a few weeks rather than years.

We are often asked how we can train somebody in such a short period of time. The answer is simple, we ONLY teach Piano Tuning one to one.

In the afternoons you are taught Repairs, French Polishing etc.  
We never have more than 2 students at a time. Piano Tuning however, remains one to one instruction only.

No other Piano Tuning Course offers such an experienced tutor along with such a uniquely intensive course.
