At the heart of Piano Tuner Academy are Robert and Helen, a passionate and dedicated team whose expertise and mentorship have transformed the lives of aspiring piano tuners from across the globe.
With over 37 years of hands-on experience, Robert is far more than a concert piano tuner and technician. He is also a Master French Polisher, an accomplished author, and a respected international conference speaker—known for inspiring musicians, entrepreneurs, and creatives with his deep knowledge and practical business wisdom.
Together, Robert and Helen founded Piano Tuner Academy over five years ago. Since then, they have successfully trained more than 50 students from the UK and around the world, helping them build thriving careers in piano tuning, repairs, and restoration.
